*While there are a few companies who offer to gold plate onto enamel, the problem remains that any brittleness will result in flaking. Our workshop had established a technique to overcome this problem, and as a result we enjoy the benefit of bespoke clients e.g. Jack Perry, Ashfield Dean etc. who realise the benefits of our unique service.

We specialise in restoration and our experienced craftsmen offer a comprehensive range of plating and polishing services. Polishing should not be underestimated as only when this is carefully and lovingly applied will your piece attain its full potential.

We are able to offer the following plating services: -

Silver Plating We can silverplate on matt and bright surfaces. We can also apply any of the finishes you specify, i.e. new or antique, or to satisfy your individual requirements.

Gold Plating Gold is applied in a similar way to silver plating irrespective of it being yellow, green or red. Yellow gold is a micron deposit which is a hard wearing gold. Green gold is traditionally an antique colour. Both colours look good on brass carriage clocks - yellow on modern clocks and green on old clocks. These finishes are becoming increasingly popular for these clocks. We also apply red gold for those special pieces if required.

As noted above, you can benefit from our exclusive ability to apply gold plate onto enamel.

We can also apply gold plating on small or large dress jewellery.
